Advertising is a fickle business. You will often find that if you don’t do everything as effectively as you would like, the ads you buy are just giant money sinks, devouring the budget you set aside each week instead of helping you make extra money online. If you want to truly know how to make money from home, you need to learn how to adjust your advertising strategy to best fit your specific niche. Creating a Niche Specific Strategy Your niche is going to be unique to you no matter how you look at it. Ideally, it is something you enjoy or you are going to have a hard time getting involved in the nitty gritty details of it (which is vital). Also, if you want to make extra money, you need to understand it so you had better do some solid research. Even if you think you know your niche well, you should be reading extensively about the niche, the people who buy the products and what their motivation is. Here are a few things you should ask yourself for any niche when trying to make extra money through it:

Who Is the Audience? What Immediate Needs Does this Audience Have? How Big Is This Audience? How Often Will This Audience Search for My Keywords? How Does My Audience Use the Internet? There are dozens more questions out there that can help you better understand your niche and how it will make extra money for you, but these will get you started. Researching and Implementing Your Strategy When trying to learn how to make money in your niche, you need to understand what your Audience is doing and why they are doing it. Research through forums, chat rooms, first hand contact, research papers, the actual products you are selling (never sell anything you have not used yourself if you can help it) and any other methods you can think of to help you understand what your niche is thinking and why they are thinking it. You need to understand them as much as possible to truly sell to them. If they have a question or need that leads them to your site, you need to be there with your ads and landing page to pull them into the answer.

To make extra money online, you need to understand, prepare for, and provide what is needed to the audience of your choice. Build a strategy that does this and you will make extra money every time.
