Success With Free Affiliate Marketing Programs

Success Is Possible With Free Affiliate Marketing Programs IF:
You Avoid the Following Pitfalls:
1. Excessive Hype. It’s understandable that a new product or service is going to be hyped. Advertising and marketing must be promoted to spread the word. However hype can backfire when the product simply doesn’t live up to the mythical aura created to promote it.
2. Outrageous Claims. Can you make a million dollars without lifting a finger? Unless your name is Warren Buffett or Bill Gates, don’t count on it. Free online affiliate programs often will claim that what they have to offer is.
3. Poor products. Sometimes the product just doesn’t deliver. Unless you’re testing out every product that you happen to promote (a good idea, but sometimes impractical to accomplish), you’re going to run across products that simply don’t perform the way either you or the customer expects. If you can’t try the product yourself, locate unbiased reviews before you begin a campaign that could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars in wasted advertising fees.
4. No demand. Everything looks right: the PPC campaign has the right keywords, the product is fantastic, and the sales letter is smokin’. But there’s a problem: no one actually wants to buy! Make sure you fully understand the market before you get in too deep with a free online affiliate program. Just because it says "free" doesn’t mean you won’t lose any money if things go unexpectedly wrong.
5. Marginal profits. Free online affiliate programs usually don’t have the problem of offering low commissions. However, you’ll occasionally encounter a product that seems great, but the cost of promoting it nearly outweighs the profit potential. Doing a thorough cost / benefit analysis in your initial planning stages can save you a lot of time and money.
6. Shoddy copywriting. Nothing kills a good product like bad salesmanship. The free online affiliate program you select should have a sales letter that sings. If it doesn’t, no matter how well you promote it, the product may not sell. If you think there are problems with the sales page, ask an affiliate manager directly if it can be updated – or if your campaign can link directly to the checkout page.
7. Vague wording. Sometimes free online affiliate programs make promises to consumers and affiliates alike about various aspects of their product or affiliate program. Make sure you understand exactly what you’re getting into before you start promoting something. Nothing will sting worse than sales you lose because you failed to understand an unclear passage in the terms and conditions.
If you follow these tips, you’ll find yourself involved with the best free online affiliate programs out there. Good luck!

How Google Adsense Generate Some Revenue From Their Blogs?

How Google Adsense Generate Some Revenue From Their Blogs?
Since its introduction in 2003, the Google Adsense program has greatly help bloggers defray hosting charges and other costs related to running blogs. Blogging can be very expensive especially when you have high levels of traffic and numerous pages. Many are turning to Google Adsense to generate some revenue from their blogs .
When you join the Adsense program, you get access to Adsense for content which places ads on your content pages. Because the ads are targeted to what visitors are looking for on your blog or they match the interests of the visitors your content attracts, you earn and at the same time enhance your content pages. Google uses its vast search technology resources to serve ads based on blog content. In this regard, Adsense has become a popular choice for placing advertisements on a blog because the content of the ads is relevant to the blog. For example, ads for kitchen utensils will appear on a blog post about healthy cooking. Google has an extensive inventory of ads for all categories, business, practically for all kinds of content. If Google is unable to display targeted ads on your blog page, you can display a default ad of your choice.
A companion to the Adsense for content is the Adsense for search. It allows you to add a Google search box on your pages. This keeps the visitors on your blog longer since they can search from right on your blog. When a visitor searches the web using the search box, Google shares any ad revenue it makes from those searches with you and you shell nothing to participate.
Another recent addition is the Adsense for feeds. This runs on RSS and Atom feeds. RSS and Atom feeds are standards for publishing regular updates to blog-based content. Ads are displayed in the most suitable feed articles. You are paid for your blog original content; visitors see appropriate advertising and more relevant feeds to choose from.
Once you are accepted, all you need is a bit of javascript code to incorporate the advertisements into the accepted blog site. Google does the rest like providing appropriate ad links from its inventory of clients to your blog. Targeted ads will start showing up on your blog.
How It Works
There are two sides to Google advertising one for advertisers selling a product or service called Ad words and Adsense for blog publishers. Advertisers pay Google to have their ads designed using Adwords appear next to the search page results in Google and a list of significant keywords for their offerings. Google will display an ad only if the provided keywords conform to a visitor search. An advertiser pays Google on a cost per click (CPC) basis. This means an advertiser pays only for that ad if the visitor clicks on the ad and visits the advertiser’s site. Advertisers compete with one another to buy search keywords usually from five cents and above. Nevertheless, Google also takes into consideration the search engine ranking of the advertiser blog, so no one site can just buy keywords. For example, a purchase of the keywords digital camera produces ads next to Google search result in its home page. Said purchase also shows Adsense ads for digital cameras on other blogs where digital cameras are mentioned.
For their part, blog publishers using Adsense create relevant pages. Google sends out Mediabots (digital robots) which use special algorithms to crawl the host blog page and evaluate the content to determine what keywords are relevant and report the result to Google ad server which then serves the appropriate ads. Blog publishers get paid a percentage of the fee that Google receives from the advertiser. This is done through a combination of a pay per click (PPC) and pay per impression basis. Impression is the number of times a specific ad has been displayed. A blog publisher is reimbursed at a fixed rate per thousand impressions. If a page isn’t significant enough, a blog publisher doesn’t get paid as much. There is no charge for the blog publisher to join Adsense. All costs are covered by the advertiser who participates in Adwords.
How Much Money It Makes
The amount of money you (blog publisher) can expect from Google Adsense depends upon several factors. If your blog draws tons of traffic and you focus on a particular niche, Google will serve ads that appeal to visitors of your site. For instance, if you maintain a popular blog devoted to portable media player, you can make a windfall because of the high level of competition for related keywords. Rates for competitive keywords can exceed $1 which impacts your blog earning potential. Conversely, if you are in a less competitive niche, you get occasional traffic only, thus less visitors click on your ads which equates to less money earned.
How much each advertisement pays per generated click is also another important factor. Each Adsense ad is not worth the same. An ad may give you ten cents while another may give you $1 per click. It depends on the demand for that kind of ad. If a number of advertisers are bidding for the same advertising space, the advertiser offering the most per click will get their ad displayed first.
Ad formats and placements influence revenue. Placing ads on the right part of the blog page is significant so that visitors looking at your page will see the ad, at the same time it will be not be overly intrusive to put visitors off.
Fundamentally though, it is all about content. To make money from Adsense, you have to know what your visitors are looking for. It may be information on a topic, a product they want to buy or a service they want to avail of and entertainment. Offering visitors good content will generate highly relevant ads which in turn will draw more clicks on the ads displayed. To optimize content, the same basic rules for search engine optimization apply.
Google doesn’t publish the percentage it takes as a commission and only displays what the blog owner receives in member reports. However, you can make a rough estimate. The average click through rate (CTR) for online advertising is generally around 0.5 to 1%. CTR is the rate at which visitors click an advertisement usually calculated as a percentage of ad impressions (number of times a specific ad has been displayed). What each click pays is dependent on the content and keywords that are generating the ads being served.
Although Google doesn’t release the amount it pays for keywords, you can sign up as an advertiser on top of being a participant in the Adsense program for $5 and see for yourself how much advertisers are paying Google for various click through. For example, a thousand page views with Google ads on them per day, at 1% click through rate and 25 cents per click will yield $2.50 per day. Not a lot but it can cover hosting fees or service fees.
Google Adsense is not a get rich quick program. But there are documented cases of bloggers earning as much as $5,000 a month and more. In fact, Jason Calacanis sold his blog network, Weblogs Inc. for a whopping $25 – $40 million on Google Adsense revenues of $1 million yearly. There isn’t any sense why a blogger can’t earn much from Google Adsense program. Definitely, there are thousands of dollars worth of reasons to make money from Google Adsense

Make Money with Google Adsense

Make Money with Google Adsense
Google Adsense is an amazing program that allows any webmaster to earn easy money from their site by simply placing a short piece of code into their webpages. Some adsense publishers earn as much as…
How Adsense Works is by placing a snippent of code that allows small contextual ads to be published on your web sites. The ads are created by advertisers who are utilizing the Google Adwords program and are allowing their ads to show up in content related results like Adsense.
Adwords plays a vital role in determining how Adsense works. Both programs are dependent upon one another. Every time a person does a search on Google and clicks on one of the sponsored ads, the person that created that ad pays Google a predetermined price. This is where the term "pay per click" comes from. Depending on the competition for that keyword the advertiser might pay anywhere from .10 cents to almost $10.00 for that click. So how does Google Adsense fit into this equation?
The beauty of how Adsense works is that by putting the Adsense code into your web pages and allowing these Adwords ads to show Google will split the money it receives from the publisher of the ad with you when a visitor to your site clicks on one of these ads. It is a well guarded secret what the actual percentage of the split is, and it does vary, but many speculate that it can be as high as 50%.
So if the creator of the ad is willing to pay .60 cents per click, then the you can expect to see about .30 cents every time someone clicks on that ad. The other .30 cents is kept by Google of course. So basically how Adsense works is that it is a partnership between Google and webmasters.
Another important factor of how Adsense Works is that it will only show ads relevant to the theme of your webpage. What does this mean? Well, for example, lets say that Kevin has a site about cooking and wants to make money from his site using Google Adsense ads. By placing the Adsense code on his site the ads that would be shown would all be related to cooking, and if he had a webpage about more specific areas of cooking like great recipes for the grill for example then the adds on that page would most likely be for things related to grilling. Are you understanding the awesome power of how Adsense works now.
It is not very difficult to see how someone with a web site that receives a decent amount of visitors can make some easy money by learning how Adsense works and implementing it into their site. Heck, there are many webmasters that will create web sites for the sole purpose of attracting high paying Adsense ads. So whatever your reason for wanting to learn how Adsense works, if you own a website or blog it is definitely a worth while endeavor to ad some Adsense code to your webpages.

Google Adsense Money Via Blogging

Google Adsense Money Via Blogging
Find out how to make money blogging through Google Adsense. Take free blogs and turn them into moneymakers!
Can anyone make money blogging? Just about, yes. There are so many ways to use blogging to your advantage and you can do so with a minimum investment of $0. Google’s Adsense program offers the opportunity to make money from targeted ads on your site or blog and you can even do so with free blogs such as on Blogger. They’re both free to join and you can use them to build an income.
Successful internet marketers make money from blogging, entrepreneurs subsidize their income with this and people use it to make a few extra dollars here and there as well. Whatever your goals are, it just takes time and research to find out if you can make money by blogging.
How do you optimize your site for the best Google Adsense results?
There are many possible answers to this question and different people have varying degrees of success at Google Adsense. One of the key factors is patience and perseverance. It can take months to get to the minimum payout level of $100.00. Another factor is the mystery that surrounds the Google Adsense program. Google won’t tell you how much money you’ll make. You’re also not allowed to ask people to click your ads and if Google suspects you are earning money via fraudulent clicks, you’ll be banned in a flash. You want to earn the highest paying niches and get your website ranked well in order to maximize your Adsense earnings. How?
Not everyone makes money online blogging but those who are willing to try a few different things and spend a lot of time researching and learning about proven effective methods for making money via blogs from Adsense can not only hit payout but can get some good residual income floating in. There is a lot of information out there to help you learn about ways to increase your chances of success.
Tips for Google Adsense Success on Your Blog
First, you have to be sure you understand what the Google Adsense TOS (terms of service) expects from you, otherwise you could find yourself inching towards payout only to be suddenly banned with all your hard work down the drain. Make your sites as Google friendly as possible and be sure you adhere to the terms and conditions of the agreement with respect to the type of content you post. Learn SEO to get indexed, get traffic and get the google spiders crawling your blog. You might not want to tell your family or friends about your Google ads in case they decide to try to ‘help’ you by committing click fraud. Once Google bans you, reversing it is like trying to un-ring a bell.
Remember that the key to Adsense success is targeted advertisements. You want ads that pertain to your niche. If you don’t have a niche on your blog, you probably won’t develop much of a following. Don’t overstuff your blog posts with the words and if you don’t get desired ads come up, you might have to tweak your wording. If you overuse some of your words you could end up with ads that you didn’t intend on getting.
Whether you’re using free blogs or hosting your own, bookmark and visit other blogs in your niche to help get the desired traffic you seek. Link to others in your niche and they’ll probably link back. Use blog networking tools and don’t forget to ping, social bookmark and comment on other blogs.
Pique curiosity. If you reveal too much information in your blog posts, there won’t be any reason to click on the ads. You want to reveal enough to provide engaging and interesting content but leave enough to the imagination that people will click a relevant Adsense advertisement on the page wanting to learn more which causes you to earn more. There are many ad placement strategies and only tests and trial will reveal the golden formula for you.

What Makes A Good Affiliate Program

What Makes A Good Affiliate Program
There are lots of affiliate programs out there in the world of Internet Marketing. However , not all of them are worth joining at all. As a matter of fact, some of them are wasting your precious time.
Always make sure that the Affiliate Programs that you have joined are worth joining.
Here are the 5 factors of what makes a good affiliate program :
1. Quality of product or service
This is undoubtedly the most important feature of a good affiliate program. If you have recommended a value for money product or service, your customers and subscribers will increase their trust level in you and therefore, will be interested in other future recommendations that you might make.
You can know whether the product is of good quality by trying out the product or service yourself. Alternatively, if you do not need the product, you can talk to other people who have bought it and also read reviews of what others got to say about the product.
The owner of the high quality product is one that is able to offer excellent customer service and also able to back up what they sell with a strong guarantee ( such as a 60 days money back guarantee etc. )
2. Commission value
A commission value of 20% to 50 % of the profits of each product sold is reasonable. 5% to 10% is incredibly low. Look for affiliate programs who are able to appreciate the hard work you are doing for them by compensating you generously
3.Sales conversion ratio
Sales conversion ratio is the ratio of the number of buyers to the total number of visitors to the website.
Therefore, when joining an affiliate program , make sure that the site has a considerably high sales conversation ratio. Or else, your efforts to driving traffic to the site will all go to waste.
The rule of thumb here is to look for sites that have at least 1% conversation ratio (i.e 1 out of every 100 visitors will purchase the product or service ) . Visit their website to see whether the website makes you want to buy their product. A sales page that makes you have the urge to buy the product is a good sales page and therefore, worth your efforts of driving traffic to the website.
4. Assistance in helping you reaping the most profit out of it
A good affiliate program will go all out to help you with whatever you may need to help you to be successful . They will provide you with banners, text links and recommendation letter templates. Some really good affiliate programs will even teach you some Internet Marketing techniques to help you.
Since your success is linked with their success, a good affiliate program should always be ready to teach you everything you need to know to earn excellent commissions.
5. Provides you with sales statistics
A good affiliate program should provide you with "Real Time Sales Statistics" – meaning that the program is able to provide you with a unique username and password which you can use to access your personal affiliate sales statistics right on their website.
Sales Statistics are important so that you are able to monitor how well your promotions are doing. With sales statistics, you are able to know :
– How many visitors have clicked through your site to their website
– How many of those visitors have actually made a purchase
– Your sales total for every month
– How many sub-affiliates do you have etc.
Also, with "real time sales statistics", you are able to know which banners are actually working and which are downright useless.
With all these said,do remember to consider all these 5 factors of what makes a good affiliate program before choosing any affiliate program to join.No matter how great your Internet Marketing skills are, you will still need a high quality affiliate program to be successful in Affiliate Marketing.

New Instant Commission Affiliate Programs
April 17, 2009 by admin

New Instant Commission Affiliate Programs
One of the biggest hurdles for affiliate marketers is having to wait for their commission payouts for weeks or months after they’ve made the sales. This leads to cash flow problems: How can you put the money back into advertising to earn more, when you haven’t been paid yet?
Enter a new type of affiliate set up…
Instant Commission Affiliate Programs. Imagine getting your commissions paid immediately into your Paypal account every time you make a sale. No more waiting around for a commission check.
This type of instant commission program is becoming increasingly popular as it’s a win-win situation for all involved. The seller doesn’t have to deal with sending out commission payments, it’s done automatically. The buyer sees no difference in the payment process and customer service issues are handled by the seller, not you. And you don’t have to worry about if and when you’ll be paid by the seller, you automatically get the money in your account when the sale is made. This allows you to immediately turn around and reinvest your profits into growing your affiliate business even further.
So how can you start getting paid instantly?
The affiliate process works the same as any other. You promote your affiliate link however you choose. The trick is to find a good product that provides instant payouts, which also pays a high commission.
The best program used by sellers for instant payouts is Rapid Action Profits. The affiliate system usually works like this:
You will get paid 100% of every other, or every third sale you refer, essentially earning you a 33% or 50% commission. Commissions generally start at $7 (the $7 Script is another popular way to payout instant commissions) and go up to the hundreds, so take a look around to find a good combination of a high quality product and commission level you’re happy with.
Where can you find Instant Commission Affiliate Programs?
You can Google ‘Powered by Rapid Action Profits’ or ‘$7 Script’ to find many of these instant commission products. It’s still a fairly new concept so your choices will not be a vast as with the average affiliate programs, and you may need to do a bit more digging, but getting paid instantly means you are able to build up a bigger affiliate income in much less time.
You’ll be able to turn around and start your next promotion right away, since the waiting game that’s slowed down affiliate marketers in the past has been eliminated. You send traffic to the product page, make the sales, and see the money in your account right away. You’ll never want to go back to old school affiliate programs again!

Make More Cents With Google Adsense Niche Websites
Don’t believe anyone who says that you can get rich by creating Google Adsense websites! However if you have the right approach you can make an additional income with Adsense provided that you produce a unique informative website. This article outlines one proven approach to making more cents with Adsense.
It is a popular misconception that it is easy to make lots of money with Google Adsense. One of the main reasons for this misconception is the multitude of self crowned internet marketing gurus who implore us to buy their Easy Adsense Fortune Making Systems so that we too can sky rocket our profits and spend most of our time hanging out on sunny beaches!
The reality is that in the far distant Google Adsense past it was perfectly
possible to make decent amount of money easily, but those days are long gone. So beware of any guru or marketeer pedaling their "Auto-Pilot Get Very Rich While You Sleep Adsense System." They sound too good to be true and they are too good to be true. However with a simple no-hype practical approach it is indeed possible to make decent money with Adsense. The key is to be realistic about your expectations and you should expect to have to put in some work before reaping the rewards. This article outlines one proven practical approach to creating Nice Adsense Websites that will earn money for you.
Assuming that you have chosen the theme for your niche website there are three main ingredients in this approach:
1) first you need a way to quickly build an Adsense-friendly niche website
2) second you need to add good quality content that is unique
3) third you need a way to drive traffic to your website that is proven
Lets look at each of these in turn:
1) Create Adsense-Friendly Niche Websites
Whats a good way to create a niche Adsense website? Many people fall into the trap of using one of the many mass market templates that are promoted by the internet marketing gurus. These can look very tempting but they suffer from two main issues:
- first they can be very difficult to customize so that they meet the needs of your website. This is typically because the makers of the templates have assumed that you would be an expert web developer and have lots of expensive web design software sitting on your computers hard drive!
- the second issue, and this is probably the biggest problem, is that these templates are simply not unique so when a someone visits your niche website they will probably think to themselves: "Hmm, I’ve seen this type of website before," and then they will immediately hit the back button.
A much better and recommended way to approach creating good niche websites quickly is to use a simple template that is easily customizable and does not need extensive web graphic design skills to be customizable.
2) Provide Quality Unique Content for Your Website Visitors
The importance of unique content cannot be overemphasized in its ability to draw your visitors attention, and they can easily see that your website is not just out to rip them off. Many people go through a phase of trying to cheat and use content-spinners that can create thousands of pages in minutes. Google can spot these pages and will instantly ban the sites! Plus the web surfers of today can easily see if your site is genuine. The more unique and relevant the content on your site is the more likely your site visitors are to click on your ads.
3) Promote Your Niche Adsense Website with Article Marketing
lastly we need a way to get lots of visitors to our sites. It should come as no surprise that article marketing is probably the best way to promote a niche Adsense website. Article Marketing has always been a great way to get qualified visitors to your niche websites. The key is to produce useful articles that provide quality information that people can use in their day to day personal and business lives.

Avoiding The Common Mistakes That Affilates Make

Avoiding The Common Mistakes That Affilate Marketers Make
Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and powerful ways of earning some money online. This program gives everybody a chance to make a profit through the Internet. Since these affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, implement and pay a commission on a regular basis, more and more people are now joining in this business.
However, like all businesses, there are lots of pitfalls in the affiliate marketing business. Committing some of the most common mistakes will cost the marketers a large portion taken from the profit they are making everyday. That is why it is better to avoid them than be regretful in the end.
Mistake number 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate.
Many people want to earn from affiliate marketing as fast as possible. In their rush to be part of one, they tend to choose a bandwagon product. This is the kind of product that the program thinks is ‘hot’. They choose the product that is in demand without actually considering if the product appeals to them. This is not a very wise move obviously.
Pick a product that appeals to you. Then do some research about that product to see if they are in demand. Promoting a product you are more passionate about is easier than promoting one for the sake of the earnings only.
Mistake number 2: Joining too many affiliate programs.
Since affiliate programs are very easy to join, you might be tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs to try and maximize the earnings you will be getting. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.
True, that is a great way to have multiple sources of income. However, joining multiple programs and attempting to promote them all at the same time will prevent you from concentrating on each one of them.
The maximum potential of your affiliate program is not realized and the income generated will not exactly be as huge as you were thinking initially it would. The best way to get excellent result is by joining just one program that pays a 40% commission at least. Then give it your best effort by promoting your products enthusiastically. As soon as you see that it is already making a reasonable profit, then maybe you can now join another affiliate program.
The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and it seems affiliate marketing will be staying for a long time too.
Mistake number 3: Not buying the product or using the service.
As an affiliate, you main purpose is to effectively and convincingly promote a product or service and to find customers. For you to achieve this purpose, you must be able to relay to the customers that certain product and service. It is therefore difficult for you to do this when you yourself have not tried these things out. Thus, you will fail to promote and recommend them convincingly. You will also fail to create a desire in your customers to avail any of what you are offering.
Try the product or service personally first before you sign up as an affiliate to see if it is really delivering what it promises. If you have done so, then you are one of the credible and living testaments aware of its advantages and disadvantages. Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you and this will trigger them to try them out for themselves.
Many affiliate marketers make these mistakes and are paying dearly for their actions. Do not fall into the same situation they have been in, try to do everything to avoid making the same mistakes.
Time is the key. Take the time to analyze your marketing strategy and check if you are on the right track. If done properly, you will be able to maximize your affiliate marketing program and earn higher profits.

3 Basic Steps To Start An Online Business With Affiliate Programs
You have probably heard a lot about how easy and how much money you can make online with affiliate programs. But, after you have set up a site that sells affiliate products, you find out that it is not easy to earn even enough affiliate commissions to cover your cost. What are the secrets of those who successfully make money online with affiliate programs? You are questioning.
Many new internet marketers who are thinking of making money from the internet will normally search for the secrets to success in making money with affiliate marketing. They normally forget about the basic things that they need to do to pave their way to success. If you are serious about making repeated income from affiliate programs, you need the 3 basic elements to start it right before you can think of how to make it success:
1. Target an area of focus
Affiliate programs offer products that cover very wide area of the online market. You can’t simply sell any product online or else you will fail to make any money eventually. The very first step to start an online business with affiliate programs is to plan your target market. You can focus on a very special topic such as a body slimming program for moms, or a wider area such as body building that covers muscle building, fitness programs, etc. The bottom line, you should plan an area you are familiar with and the niche market where you can find profitable affiliate products.
2. Set up a website with your own domain name
You may hear about how people can have success in affiliate marketing without the need to have their own website. But, the average online marketers will fail with this method because it will be very costly to directly channel the traffic you generated to merchant’s websites. If the conversion rate to sales is low, you will not be able to earn enough commission to cover your cost. Hence, you should always set up your own website with a domain name that includes your targeted keywords. By promoting affiliate products through your own website, you can fully manipulate the traffic you generated and add the website visitors into your list for future marketing or promotion activities.
3. Write / get quality contents for your website
Once you have set up a website with a keyword-rich domain name, what you need are quality contents related to your selected niche market. It is essential to have good contents as these contents will keep your visitors if they found the contents informative. Good contents are important to monetize your website visitors to follow your proposed affiliate link and land on the merchant’s sale page with a high conversion rate. Hence, you should put some efforts to work on the contents; you can either write them yourself or hire ghost writers to write them for you.
After you have done the 3 basic steps to get an online business started with affiliate programs, only then you could start think of how to make it success.
